LAY LEADERSHIP
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:9
Trinity Baptist Church is historically governed and led by its congregation, emphasizing a deep belief in the priesthood of all believers and rooted in our Baptist identity.
The church operates through a democratic model where its members are actively involved in leadership positions. Key decisions are oftentimes made or affirmed by the entire body.
The ministry and work of the church are carried out by volunteer committees, teams, and elected deacons who serve in various capacities. These dedicated members lead ministries, manage finances, coordinate missions, and oversee facility operations. This structure ensures that the church’s direction is rooted in the collective wisdom, guidance, and Spirit-led gifting of the people it serves.
